We are able to offer advice on safety issues for roofing and cladding contractors, glazing contractors and general contractors, as well as offering advice on the creation of method statements and risk assessments. Having worked with a variety of main contractors who wanted method statements prepared in various ways Nigel can offer advice on how best to prepare these method statements and on what details should be included.

Fabrite Solutions can carry out internal audits within your company, as well as carrying out site audits where required to allow you to identify any weaknesses in the management system.

Under the Health and Safety at Work Order there is a requirement for all employers to ensure that all equipment provided to employees is fit for purpose. The LOLER and PUWER regulations also require that any equipment used for lifting, or any work equipment supplied to employees is inspected regularly.
The ACOP states that Harnesses supplied to workers should receive a statutory inspection within an interval of not more than 6 months on an ongoing basis, or more frequently depending on the environment the harness is to be worn in and it's frequency of use.
Fabrite Solutions can carry out your statutory harness inspections, and will also set up a harness maintenance register which will highlight when the harnesses need inspected again, thus helping you ensure that your operatives are constantly working with safe, inspected equipment.
